Gilad Briggs specializes in national security, regional alliances, and Middle East geopolitics. He is an honors student in political science and Middle Eastern studies at Bar-Ilan University. He served as secretary of the Security Committee for Strategic Planning at the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC), where he coordinated multinational staff work on stabilization efforts and international forces in Gaza (ISF). He has an operational background in the IDF Paratroopers Reconnaissance Unit and served more than 400 days of reserve duty during the Swords of Iron War.
