Vita Avrahamov is a Senior Research Fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS), specializing in geopolitics, economics, and energy issues across Eurasia and the Middle East. She served for 12 years as a Senior Political Analyst at the Center for Political Research (CPR) within Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she developed expertise in post-Soviet countries (South Caucasus and Central Asia), the Russian, Iranian, and Turkish economies, and global energy issues.
