A Policy-Oriented Think Tank Addressing Foreign Policy and National Security Issues for a Safe Israel

JISS Newsletter – 01.05.25

Happy 77th Independence Day to the State of Israel—above all, we hope for days of peace, security, and prosperity for all of us, and for the swift return of our hostages to their families. May we find the strength to come together at this time, to strengthen national resilience, and to build a better future for all the citizens of the state.

JISS fellows have stayed at the forefront of public discourse in recent weeks, through their writing, participation in strategic meetings, and presence at leading conferences.

Among other things, Institute researchers presented Israel’s security challenges at events in New York; met in Israel—under the auspices of B’nai B’rith—with a delegation of senior figures from the Greek-American community; participated in the JNS conference; took part in a conference on Eastern Mediterranean security held in Greece; met with NATO in Latvia; and more.
